    Two to Three years of experience in building maintenance or other relevant work experience.

       
    Job Description:

    Perform all general apartment and facilities maintenance under minimum supervision in a manner, which insures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.

    Contribute to the achievement of occupancy goals by effectively performing maintenance tasks, which promote a quality living experience for residents.

    Contribute to the achievement of financial goals through high productivity and cost awareness, without compromising quality.

    Assist in maintaining inventory and preparation of related paperwork.

    Keep storage facilities in an orderly, working condition.

    Serve as a resource for management and assist in the development and communication of more efficient methods of maintaining the apartment community.

    Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned by the Service Manager.

    Promote positive, proactive resident relations by demonstrating "firm, fair, and consistent" treatment during all resident interactions.

    Work to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality.

    Facilitate introduction of the resident to company apartment procedures.

    Remain informed and aware of conditions that could have an impact on our ability to maintain a quality living environment for our residents.

    Perform specific carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, masonry, hazardous material abatement, and appliance repairs in accordance with company standards, and in conjunction with management staff.

    Complete related paperwork and have good follow through.

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Additional Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED

    Previous experience in maintenance, electrical, plumbing required.

    Basic knowledge of tools required.

    Candidate must be computer literate and detail oriented with strong organization skills.

    Must have the ability to interact effectively with prospects,residents, peers, and management.

    Valid Class C California drivers license with DMV printout

    Reliable transportation.

    English proficiency.

    Ability to work weekends.
